To whom it may concern:

Yesterday, a bunch of our soldiers received some Cookie containers from
your organization.  I just wanted to pause quickly and send a sincere
and WARM (108 degrees today in Iraq) THANK YOU, for doing this wonderful
deed!  I do not think you realize the impact of such things on deployed
Soldiers.  You probably reach Soldiers that are in all different stages
of their deployment cycle.  WE, are within a 90 day window of returning
home...so as expected... as we start drawing down, families slow down in
the amount of mail that gets sent over.  Just a normal attrition per
say.  Kinda Gets to be "OLD HAT" if you will, since the soldier has been
in IRAQ so long etc. SO, THIS WAS A VERY TIMELY PACKAGE...Thank you so
much, from the Soldiers and Families of the 36th SUSTAINMENT BRIGADE!

Here at 36th SUSTAINMENT BRIGADE we all appreciate the cookies!  They
brought a smile to all of the soldiers!  The simple pleasures in life
are missed while on deployment so this was a real treat!

Thank you and know that You are Appreciated!

Wow, many thanks to you and all your helpers in sending all of us here at the 486th the box of treats.
They're fantastic! We can't thank you and everyone else back home for your continued support.
It's because of people like you and the support from our families that enables us to accomplish
the mission with a sound heart and mind.  Knowing that we're loved and supported goes a long way
for each and every soldier, sailor and airmen here with us.  Thanks again, for everything you do!

Dear Cookie Brigade,
Thank you for all that you do!  I am currently deployed overseas with the 148th Fighter wing out of Duluth, MN.
While sitting on post the other day a supervisor brought your cookies out.  We all indulged and enjoyed the
home made cookies!!  You sure do have the packaging down, they made it to us in great condition.
I was impressed.  From all of us who received cookies from your organization
THANK YOU!! It is great to get a taste of home over here.

Thanks again,

Hi and Good Morning!

My name is SSgt Dena Jones and I am a Air Force K-9 Handler currently
stationed In Bagram for a deployment. I have been in the Air Force 12
years now and 8 years of it has been K-9.  I am currently stationed in
Macdill AFB, Tampa Fl.  My MWD's name is Conny and she is 8 years old.
She is a very special dog that loves to play with everyone and loves
kids.  I think she feels as if she is human sometimes because she can
understand every word that I am saying and when she has a chance she
will take up all the room in my bed.  LOL!!  The reason I am writing is
because I seen the wonderful packages that you have sent to my fellow
handlers at different locations and I wanted to personally Thank-you so
much for that caring gesture.  We are very fortunate to have people like
you that care for us and our K-9 companions especially when we are so
far away from our loved ones.  Its is people like you that keep our
spirits up when we our unable to speak or see our loved ones or haven't
received a letter or package in a while.  What you are doing for
Military Members through the AORs and stateside is a true gift of
gratitude and I want to tell you Thank-You again.  Not just from me but
from our four legged friends as well.  I will send you pictures from my
personnel e-mail shortly...Thanks-again!

Thank you all very much for the caring gift package of goodies for our dogs here.
We always appreciate the support from back home and are glad to see that good people
don’t forget about the Dogs that work so hard for us.  The cookies looked so good,
we almost ate them ourselves- ok not entirely true.  We all appreciate the support from
back home and look forward to returning when our time is done.

Thank you for making the time here better.

To Whom It May Concern,
The other day I received a box full of cookies from your organization.  It
was about the greatest thing ever!  Everyone in our shop has enjoyed them
and can't stop talking about how wonderful it was for you to send them.  I
am sorry, but I don't think I can adequately describe what a great feeling
it is to open up a box from someone we have never met sending something they
clearly worked very hard to make to folks they don't know.
You guys are great!  Thank you so much!

Warmest Regards,
